I had the real pleasure of making up the gorgeous Nell Hudson for You Magazine a few weeks back. The shoot was to coincide with the return of the fabulous Victoria to our screens on Sunday nights – Nell plays Victoria’s dresser. If you haven’t seen it yet (why not?!) then you’re in for a treat!
The brief for Nell’s make-up was a 60’s Bardot vibe. I prepped Nell’s skin with a good cleanse and massage using Nourish Skin Renew Cleanser then moisturised with Bodhi and Birch’s Desert Rose Facial Oil. I used a combination of Kjaer Weis’ Cream Foundation and RMS Beauty ‘Un’ Cover Up to even out Nell’s skintone then I used Ilia Beauty’s Multi-Stick in All Of Me for a gentle flush. I used Ilia’s Polka Dots and Moonbeams for a gentle highlight and then set the t-zone and under eyes with Ilia’s setting powder.
For Nell’s eyes I used Jane Iredale’s gel liner in black and then smoked it out a bit with some shadows from my palette – Couleur Caramel I think. I added definition to brows using the shade Marilyn from EcoBrow. For lips I used Ilia’s lipstick in The Brides.
Nell was so lovely to make-up. She was such fun and loved the make-up. Watch her in Victoria on Sunday night!! 🙂
